Abstract
One of the big problems that we are teaching is the flow of misspellings of students. No discussion at this point, good spelling is the basis of a well-written text and has to take into account that in most cases, we communicate in writing.
The spelling problem is not just a school problem, goes further, belongs to life: letters, applications, instances, research papers, court orders, written police reports, among others, everything is in writing. Everything should be impeccable, as far as spelling is concerned. It is true that today's processors incorporate spelling tools, but sometimes not enough.
To carry out research Longitudinal procedure was used to make close monitoring of the phenomenon, which allowed us to determine the causes of misuse of spelling rules and their implications in the management and use of the Castilian tongue.
The study universe consisted of 2 lestudiantes sixth and seventh years and 3 Basic Education School Teachers "Andrés Toaquiza" Cashapata community, parish Guangaje Region Pujilí province of Cotopaxi.
Because the universe is small survey was applied to all students and teachers.
The general objective was intended to achieve through this research was:
Design and implement a directory of educational games to teach spelling rules to students of the Sixth and Seventh Year Basic Education School "Andrew Toaquiza" Cashapata community, parish Guangaje Region Pujili Cotopaxi province, during the academic year 2009-2010, the same that fell the following specific objectives:
I. Analyzing the main theoretical basis for determining the importance of teaching the spelling rules for children in the sixth and seventh years of basic education.
2. Diagnosed through the application of surveys, the situations that occur in the institution that prevent proper application of spelling rules.
