dc.descriptionAfter developing the present work, it has been identified the principal problems that limit the academic formation in the English area of the students in the 14th October Technical High School from La Victoria parish. In this context, it is based in the Historical-Cultural Conception; therefore, Vigotsky considers the learning as a social activity and never an individual training process; for this reason, it is the most certain theory to guide it, so that the main aspect for Vigotsky is on studying the training of the cognitive processes analyzing to people in the different social and cultural activities. Moreover, this work used the Applied and Descriptive searching; therefore, it was collected actual data of the students, teachers, authorities, and professionals from English’s Major, in addition, these are related with the Inductive-Deductive, Descriptive and Scientific methods, in order to detail the truly Academic Formation of the students, and of this manner demonstrates the planned hypothesis, and also applied techniques such as observation, interview, and surveys. Finally, with this work, we identified several deficiencies during the Academic Formation process such as: the lack of application of active techniques, the wrong way to use the didactic resources, and also the lack of actuality contents and educational improvements; so that, it has been proposed solutions to develop the English teaching – learning process.
