| dc.description | The objective of the research was to develop a geoportal to carry out an agricultural zoning in Latacunga Canton, establishing the prioritized sectors of the main crops in the canton, determining their location, the crops they produce, the edaphoclimatic conditions they have, the information to carry out the work was obtained through metadata from the institute MAGAP-SIGTIERRAS, the development of the geoportal was done through three phases: planning, development and completion using 2 programs Arcgis desktop 10.4 and Arcgis online. In the analysis of the metadata, three main crops were identified in Latacunga Canton: corn, potato, broccoli, in the case of corn cultivation (Zea mays) obtaining 10 parishes: November 11, San Juan de Pastocalle, Aláquez, Belisario Quevedo, Guaytacama, Joseguango Bajo, Latacunga, Mulalo, Poalo, Tanicuchi, in the potato cultivation (Solanum tuberosum) 7 parishes: San Juan de Pastocalle, Aláquez, Belisario Quevedo, Latacunga, Mulalo, Poalo, Toacaso and in the cultivation of broccoli (Brassica oleracea) 8 parishes: November 11, San Juan de Pastocalle, Guaytacama, Joseguango Bajo, Latacunga, Mulalo, Poalo, Tanicuchi, being the corn crop the one that obtained a highest percentage of production in the canton. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | El proyecto de investigación tuvo como objetivo desarrollar un geoportal para realizar la zonificación agrícola en el Cantón Latacunga estableciendo los sectores priorizados de los principales cultivos del cantón, determinando su localización, los cultivos que producen , las condiciones edafoclimaticas que poseen, la información para realizar el trabajo se la obtuvo mediante metadatos del instituto MAGAP-SIGTIERRAS, el desarrollo del geoportal se lo realizo mediante tres fases: planificación, desarrollo y finalización utilizando 2 programas Arcgis desktop 10.4 y Arcgis online. En el análisis de los metadatos se identificó tres cultivos principales en el Cantón Latacunga: maíz, papa, brócoli, en el caso del cultivo de maíz (Zea mays) se realizó en las 10 parroquias: 11 de Noviembre, San Juan de Pastocalle, Aláquez, Belisario Quevedo, Guaytacama, Joseguango Bajo, Latacunga, Mulalo, Poalo, Tanicuchi, en el cultivo de papa (Solanum tuberosum) 7 parroquias: San Juan de Pastocalle, Aláquez, Belisario Quevedo, Latacunga, Mulalo, Poalo, Toacaso y en el cultivo de brócoli (Brassica oleracea) 8 parroquias: 11 de Noviembre, San Juan de Pastocalle, Guaytacama, Joseguango Bajo, Latacunga, Mulalo, Poalo, Tanicuchi, siendo el cultivo de maíz el que obtuvo un mayor porcentaje de producción en el cantón. | es_ES |
