- ItemCultura organizacional y la retención del talento humano en la cooperativa de ahorro y crédito 15 de agosto de Pilacoto.(Ecuador: Latacunga: Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi (UTC), 2024-08) Barona López, Alan Ricardo; Tipan German, Kevin Javier; Ortiz Mora, Irma EdithHigh employee turnover reduces motivation and negatively impacts on the economy of Savings and Credit Cooperatives. In response to this issue, a study was conducted at COAC 15 de Agosto de Pilacoto, aiming to analyze the relationship between organizational culture and talent retention. The methodology employed a quantitative approach, with a non-experimental, descriptive, and correlational design, based on a bibliographic method. A survey technique was used, applying a questionnaire with a Likert scale from 1 to 5 as the data collection instrument. The reliability indices, measured through Cronbach's Alpha, were α= 0.93 for the organizational culture variable and α= 0.86 for talent retention. The population studied consisted of 36 employees of the cooperative. The results revealed that the predominant organizational culture is "Adhocratic." Regarding talent retention, "Medium" levels were found in the remuneration dimension, "High" in the employer dimension, and "Medium" in the transformational leadership dimension. Bartlett's test of sphericity showed a significance of less than 0.005 for both instruments, allowing the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (H1). Moreover, Pearson's correlation coefficient indicated a positive and moderate relationship between the variables, with a value of 0.629. Based on the findings, strategies were proposed to improve talent retention, such as implementing recognition activities, innovation rewards, employee benefits, and training programs in innovative leadership.
