Therefore, this research aimed to determine the innovative grapho-plastic techniques for developing fine motor skills in the students of first grade parallel “A” of the “Victoria Vásconez Cuvi” Educational Unit, school year 2023-2024. The selected methodology was based on a qualitative approach, the type of research focused on field research, the research design was applied through an exhaustive content analysis, and the method used was inductive. For information collection, an interview guide was used for the teacher of the grade and an observation guide for the students. The results of the application of the instruments showed a notable deficit in the progress of fine motor skills in the children of first grade parallel "A" in the morning session, which was reflected in the visuospatial difficulties, the lack of manual coordination, and the abrupt traits in writing. For this reason, innovative graphic-plastic activities were proposed, carefully designed, and presented in a didactic guide to improve fine motor skills. The "Guide of graphic-plastic techniques for the development of fine motor skills in children: ¡Todos los pasitos avanzan!," structured with six activities, showed effectiveness by integrating crucial elements such as manipulation and experimentation with different materials and textures that strengthened manual dexterity, digital dexterity, and motor development, enriching fine motor skills. The contribution of this study was to improve fine motor skills through innovative graphic-plastic techniques, a necessary skill to achieve significant learning in the student, being the fundamental basis for academic and personal training. It was also a relevant contribution for teachers as it created a dynamic and interactive environment with the implementation of these varied activities that gave way to the active and participatory interaction of the students.
