    “La sobreprotección afectiva en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje en los estudiantes del cuarto año de EGB de la unidad educativa Belisario Quevedo del cantón Pujilí en el periodo lectivo 2023- 2024”

    Affective overprotection is a growing phenomenon in current education that can have significant consequences on the cognitive, emotional and social development of students, its objective is to analyze the impact of affective overprotection in the teaching-learning process of fourth-year students of Basic General Education (EGB) at the Belisario Quevedo Educational Unit of the Pujilí canton, the applied methodology was located in the qualitative approach with the inductive method, the type of research carried out was a field and descriptive research, applying different data collection techniques such as interviews and observation through instruments such as an interview guide and an observation guide aimed at 35 fourth-year EGB students, the teacher and parents, qualitative data content analysis was used. The results revealed that affective overprotection is present in a significant percentage of fourth-year EGB students at the Belisario Quevedo Educational Unit. A correlation was observed between overprotection and a lack of autonomy and skills to face academic challenges on the part of students. In addition, specific behavioral patterns associated with emotional overprotection and excessive dependence on parents were identified; concluding that emotional overprotection has a negative impact on the teaching-learning process of students in their school environment.
