The National Intellectual Rights Service (SENADI) seeks to raise awareness of the importance of registering industrial secrets to prevent unauthorized plagiarism. The possibility of keeping industrial secrets confidential allows companies or institutions to continue investing in research and development without fear of their progress being revealed to the public. In this context, the research project was conducted at the Technical University of Cotopaxi to obtain the registration of the Industrial Secret of the products previously elaborated, “bread based on wheat flour and corn flour with the addition of whey, and biscuits based on barley flour with the partial substitution of residual products from the extraction of walnut oil using two types of leavening agents (yeast and royal)” in the name of the Technical University of Cotopaxi, to safeguard the industrial secret of these products through registering the industrial secret so that it will keep the information of these products in confidence to maintain its competitive advantage. We compiled this data from research conducted within the Agroindustry career. It includes details on methodology, formulation, flow diagram, and material balance to register the intellectual property. By registering with the National Intellectual Rights Service (SENADI), the aim is to protect and guarantee that these technologies remain inaccessible for use without the legal consent of the University.
