    “La gamificación para la lectoescritura”

    Gamification for reading and writing is a technique and learning strategy that strengthens the skills and abilities acquired through playful activities, encouraging the excellent habit of reading and writing, which allows teachers to implement new techniques and innovative and creative strategies that encourage participation in the classroom. The objective of this research is to promote the development of gamification for reading and writing as a motivation that is aimed at students in the fourth year parallel ‘E’ of General Basic Education of the Educational Unit ‘Victoria Vásconez Cuvi - Simón Bolívar - Elvira Ortega,’ parish, La Matriz, canton Latacunga, province of Cotopaxi, school year 2023 - 2024. The methodology used is based on the qualitative approach, allowing us to enter into the reality of the educational context to observe the environment of teachers and students, applying the following methods: empirical method, theoretical and inductive method with the type of documentary research and field research. The data were obtained through interview techniques for two teachers and five students, using instruments such as an interview guide to collect information and essential data from the subject to be investigated. The result of this research work is to create striking and innovative activities with the application of the technological tool Educaplay as a source of pedagogical support when teaching classes looking for a common goal, which is to obtain quality learning and warmth that the student creates and feels confident when reading and writing in a creative and non-traditionalist way as years ago used to dictate.
