These aspects which have only been theory, nowadays, they are emphasized in actions. The central object is: To elaborate a Graphic-Plastic Techniques Guide based on the development of student's psychometrics abilities and to put in practice the basic English skills at "Semillitas" Educative Center in Pujili. In the constant improvement, it has been an observation of the necessities and many inconveniences have been determined, beginning from a participative process, there were different issues that obstruct the systematic development in the English Learning as a second Language. Consequently this proposal was designed in the most appropriated manner, to face the transformation and actual challenges. This proposal will be an instrument to provide the educational process to develop the student's skills, abilities, creativity and ingenuity in English language proficiency, and to the Cotopaxi Technical University, in the acquisition of an academic guarantee to society.

This research was made with the clear objective of providing technical English knowledgement to students of second and third level of Electromechanical specialty, for this reason the contents are based on the information about: Teaching Learning process, Technical English Teaching, Didactic Resource, Text. The main goal that guided this investigative process was to to provide students basic terminology through "Electromechanical Technical English for Itermediate Level" text. With the results of research, It was elaborated a text with technical profile, which is based on techniques and strategies that help to develop the activities. Historical Cultural model was taken in account to design the proposal, where students can do social activities and not individually ones.
- ItemUsing tales and songs in the teaching learning process in children of first and second year of basic education to fortify the study in the english languaje learning at ´General Quisquis´ School during the period 2011 - 2012(Ecuador: Latacunga: Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi (UTC), 2014-10) Flores Toapanta, Clara Guadalupe; Bungacho Castro, Jimena SoniaThis investigative research had as purpose to improve the Teaching-Learning Process in the children of first and second year of Basic Education at "General Quis Quis" using tales and songs in English in order to fortify the learning in this second language. The principal objective of this research is that children get a significant learning through the correct use of tales and songs in English taking into account the students' characteristics at that age and in the formal context of the classroom. Using tales and songs in English is the way to make them practice vocabulary and grammar in the meaningful context provided with the story or song. In addition to this, children do the activities autonomously so that cooperation among pupils is promoted and children learn to learn for themselves. After to apply the surveys to parents of the "General Quis-Quis" school, who considered so essential the use of new techniques like tales and songs in English, the research found as a result that is very important to use new methods like listening songs and tales through games, or another way that allow to share with children the significant knowledge based on the content because children are attracted by the colors and drawings of any book or pamphlet, and even more so if it is used as a technological material, data show and laptops, where they can see for themselves the activities based on animations and songs. For this reason, the correct use of tales and songs in English is so vital for developing the wanted skills in children much better if they are so young
- ItemTeachers’ perceptions of virtual reality in the development of vocabulary(Ecuador : Pujilí : Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi (UTC), 2023) Pacheco Díaz, Francis Marcelo; Cando, Fabiola SoledadVirtual reality is a technological tool that provides immersive learning experiences for a better understanding, promotes collaborative work, and contains authentic material to develop communicative competencies. Users can witness new things that the real environment cannot provide for learning. This qualitative research aimed to describe the teachers' perception of virtual reality in English language learning after participating in a training course of 5 sessions. It was phenomenological research because it analyzed 5 English teachers’ experiences after being immersed in the virtual world to test VR apps to develop language. Participants tried 5 apps where students can enhance their language. Data was collected by using participants' journals. The teachers’ reflections were analyzed through thematic analysis. The study shows that teachers believe that virtual reality can positively assist students in English language learning with an immersive language environment, authentic material, hands-on activities, and audio-visual aids. Teachers showed positive attitudes toward virtual reality to improve English language learning and teaching with this technological tool. Teachers suggest virtual reality promotes higher opportunities to enhance language learning and teaching. In conclusion, Virtual reality is an effective learning tool that teachers can apply in their classes to make them more engaging and meaningful for students.
