Abstract
This work focused on the development of a computer system for the automation and management of patients in the rehabilitation area of the Municipal Board of Latacunga. The main objective was to systematize patient data registration, appointment scheduling, reevaluations, and therapies, using the Scrum methodology to guarantee agile and effective management. The problem identified was the lack of an efficient system to manage the volume of data and processes related to rehabilitation. Qualitative bibliographic research was conducted to select the most advanced tools and methods, establishing a solid theoretical foundation. The specific requirements of the rehabilitation area were defined, allowing the system to be adapted to the needs of the board. The implementation of the system on suitable servers was validated through performance tests, confirming that it meets the required technical specifications. The system proved to be effective in improving management and efficiency in patient care. The main contributions include a robust technological solution adapted to the Municipal Board of Latacunga, providing a reliable tool for patient monitoring and process optimization. In conclusion, the system represents an innovative and efficient solution for the automation of rehabilitation processes, standing out for its ability to improve efficiency in area management.

Este trabajo se centró en el desarrollo de un sistema informático para la automatización y gestión de pacientes en el área de rehabilitación del Patronato Municipal de Latacunga. El objetivo principal fue sistematizar el registro de datos de pacientes, la programación de citas, las revaluaciones y las terapias, utilizando la metodología Scrum para garantizar una gestión ágil y efectiva. El problema identificado fue la falta de un sistema eficiente para manejar el volumen de datos y procesos relacionados con la rehabilitación. Se realizaron investigaciones bibliográficas cualitativas para seleccionar las herramientas y métodos más avanzados, estableciendo una base teórica sólida. Se definieron los requisitos específicos del área de rehabilitación, permitiendo adaptar el sistema a las necesidades del patronato. La implementación del sistema en servidores adecuados fue validada mediante pruebas de rendimiento, confirmando que cumple con las especificaciones técnicas requeridas. El sistema demostró ser eficaz en la mejora de la gestión y eficiencia en la atención a los pacientes. Los aportes principales incluyen una solución tecnológica robusta adaptada al Patronato Municipal de Latacunga, proporcionando una herramienta fiable para el seguimiento de pacientes y la optimización de procesos. En conclusión, el sistema representa una solución innovadora y eficiente para la automatización de procesos en rehabilitación, destacando por su capacidad para mejorar la eficiencia en la gestión del área.
