Abstract
The techniques of translation are indispensable tools that must be used for teachers and students, and it permits to obtain exact and very easy translation. Our investigation refers techniques like observation and analyses that they are used to translate texts, literary or technical paragraphs; we must put a lot of emphasis in the technical translation where there are problems and is in this place where the mention techniques help us to find the more proper solution. We to mention, there isn't any ruler for doing a technical or literary translation, but if we must give importance to the use of basis aspects such as: grammar structures, synonyms and so on when the translation is written, in the same way we have to take in account stress, intonation, dialect etc. when the translation is oral, all these steps must be analyzed careful and in a methodical way for a successful translation. Also, we have to analyze carefully the steps to follow for doing a translation, so that these have logical sequence for obtaining a good job, another aspects that must take in account are correct use of the native language with all of the characteristics. Our contribution is guided to English teachers and students of Technical University of Cotopaxi so that the translation process will carry in a single and good results, we can propose real solutions through theorical bases in a clear and simple language, according to the translator necessities
