| dc.description | The purpose of the present investigation was to identify the environment in the “Quilotoa Shalala” community with the aim of proposing to the community some changes in the vegetation that exists in the place; trees and plants outside of the sector have been introduced, such as the existence of pine seeding in almost all the community, considered as a protected area, and being at the moment the cutting of trees prohibited. There are 27 hectares with pine trees and in a small amount there are cypress, eucalyptus, which has meant that there is no more vegetation and the presence especially of birds. The only alternative to improve the eco system of this place is the systematic change of the plants and trees introduced by native plants of the place. This community is small; there are about 45 families, because most of them have migrated to other cities looking for a job. Almost all the people who reside in this community have dedicated themselves to the tourism that has become the first source of economic income, because of the beauty of the tourist viewing-point that exists in this place, that from statistics obtained by the leaders of this community it is known that around 40,000 thousand tourists have visited the viewing-point in the past six months. With the change of vegetation, there would be even more tourists’ presence because there would be the existence of birds, wild animals, which is what the tourist would like to observe more than a glass viewing-poin. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación tuvo como finalidad identificar el medio ambiente en la comunidad de Quilotoa Shalala con la finalidad de plantear a la comunidad algunos cambios en la vegetación que existe en el lugar; se ha introducido árboles y platas ajenas al sector como es la existencias de casi la totalidad de esta comunidad de sembrío de pino, considerándose como área protegida, siendo al momento prohibido la tala de los árboles. Se encuentra 27 hectáreas con árboles de pino y en poca cantidad existe ciprés, eucalipto, lo que ha hecho que no exista mayor vegetación y la presencia especialmente de aves. La única alternativa para mejorar el eco sistema de este lugar es el cambio sistemático de las plantas y árboles introducidos por plantas nativas propias del lugar. Esta comunidad es pequeña, existen cerca de 45 familias, porque la mayoría ha emigrado a otras ciudades en busca de trabajo. Casi todas las personas que residen en esta comunidad se han dedicado al turismo que se ha convertido en la primera fuente de ingresos económicos, por lo hermoso del mirador turístico que existe en este lugar, que de las estadísticas obtenidas por los dirigentes de esta comunidad han visitado en estos seis meses alrededor de 40.000 mil turistas. Con el cambio de vegetación habría inclusive mayor presencia de turistas porque existiría la presencia de aves, animales silvestres, que es lo que el turista le gustaría observar a más del mirador de vidrio. | es_ES |
