dc.descriptionAt the Technical University of Cotopaxi, La Maná extension, research projects are developed in the Research Department where the main participants are the career coordinators in charge of carrying out and presenting all the documentation of the research carried out to the person in charge of the research area for their respective review. and publication so that students, professionals and researchers can view through the project management system. Therefore, the information system is developed that allows contributing to the university by automating the necessary processes so that the coordinators can be approved for the projects of the different categories. For which it was necessary the bibliographical investigation that facilitate the reference and guide for the development of the system; also, with the technique of research instruments such as the interview and survey to establish the functional requirements for the development of the project management system through the agile Scrum methodology. Finally, the results of the research based on the scientific point of view are included, presenting the diagnosis of the black box and white box tests, opening the implementation of the system on the web for the use of project management in the research department. dc.description.abstractEn la Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi extensión La Maná se desarrollan proyectos de investigación en el Departamento de Investigación donde los partícipes principales son los coordinadores de carrera encargados de realizar y presentar toda la documentación de la investigación realizada al encargado del área de investigación para su respectiva revisión y publicación para que los estudiantes, profesionales e investigadores puedan visualizar mediante el sistema de gestión de proyectos. Por lo cual se desarrolla el sistema de información que permite contribuir a la universidad mediante la automatización de procesos necesarios para que los coordinadores puedan ser aprobados los proyectos de las diferentes categorías. Para lo cual fue necesario la investigación bibliográfica que facilitan la referencia y guía para el desarrollo del sistema; también con la técnica de los instrumentos de investigación como la entrevista y encuesta para la establecer los requisitos funcionales para el desarrollo del sistema de gestión de proyectos mediante la metodología ágil Scrum. Finalmente, se incluye los resultados de la investigación basado desde el punto de vista científico presentando el diagnostico de las pruebas de caja negra y caja blanca dando apertura a la implementación del sistema en la web para la utilización de gestión de proyectos en departamento de investigación UTC La Maná.es_ES
