- Item“Fortalecimiento de la responsabilidad social empresarial: un estudio de caso de la licencia social en la empresa Aglomerados Cotopaxi en sus proyectos de Vinculación Social en las comunidades ubicadas en la Cara Norte del Volcán Cotopaxi”(Ecuador : Latacunga : Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi (UTC), 2024-08) Salguero Ramírez, Karla Belén; Hidalgo Toaquiza, Jenny Patricia; Parra Trávez, Eric DavidThe general objective of this research study was to strengthen the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of the company Aglomerados Cotopaxi S.A. through the analysis of community perception and the development of strategies based on the findings obtained. The methodology used is based on a quantitative approach, the data obtained allowed general trends to be identified. The research was complemented with an exploratory and descriptive study. The techniques include surveys applied to community leaders, while the instruments used are structured questionnaires with high reliability, as demonstrated by a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.977. The results show that 60.3% of the The community has a positive perception of the company's CSR actions, which suggests a good relationship, although areas for improvement were identified, particularly in communication and transparency. The conclusions highlight the importance of continuing and expanding social engagement projects to consolidate the "social license" and promote sustainable development. The proposed strategies include the formation of a team specialized in community relations, the implementation of volunteer programs, and investment in community development initiatives to strengthen social integration and cooperation between the company and local communities.
