The main objective is to determine the correlation between stress and the work environment. A quantitative, descriptive, and correlational approach was applied, utilizing both bibliographic and field modalities. The study population consist of 400 individuals, and data were collected through a questionnaire administered to 203 employees who are part of the study group. The first section of the questionnaire is related to demographic data; the second one evaluates the work environment with 50 items measured on a Likert scale from 1 to 5; and the third section assesses work-related stress using the MBI (Burnout) questionnaire, which includes 22 items measured on a Likert from 1 to 7. Regarding the overall assessment of the work environment, emotional exhaustion and depersonalization are moderate, while personal accomplishment is high, suggesting a positive perception of work and professional development. Women exhibit lower levels of emotional exhaustion and depersonalization compared to men but also show a lower level of personal accomplishment. The correlation coefficients do not show a strong relationship between the dimensions of works environment and stress. However, an inverse relationship between emotional exhaustion and personal accomplishment, communication, and working conditions is evident, similar to depersonalization. .
