dc.description.abstractThe research conducted on the topic: Application of active techniques in English language learning with eighth-grade elementary school students at the "Catorce de Julio" School in the San Buenaventura Parish, as a methodological strategy for classroom teaching, during the 2003-2004 school year, as a proactive alternative within the teaching-learning process. Currently, the study and practice of the English language is a necessity due to globalization in communication, marketing, and cultural exchange from one hemisphere to another. This justifies the present work, which suggests active learning techniques for this area of study in schools.
