This development uses advanced Artificial Intelligence capabilities, combined with recommendation algorithms, to significantly enhance early detection and effective pest control. The implementation of this technological solution aims to impact the increase in agricultural productivity directly. The mobile application development process was held using the Mobile-D methodology, known for its agile and adaptive approach to mobile app development. For training the Artificial Intelligence model, the KDD methodology was applied, enabling the extraction of relevant knowledge from large volumes of data. Google Colab was used as the development platform, offering a flexible and scalable environment for data processing and model training. Regarding the app development, Flutter was used within the Visual Studio Code environment, allowing for seamless integration of the application's functionalities. Furthermore, the TensorFlow library, along with advanced MobileNetV2 techniques, was utilized to implement the Artificial Intelligence model on mobile devices, ensuring high performance and efficiency in pest recognition.

(UTC), 2024-08) Gómez Reinoso, Mercedes Salome; Simba Simba, Danny Eduardo; Beltrán Corrales, Segundo BeltránThe present technological proposal focuses on the development of a web system for sales control and customer service through the application of recommendation algorithms based on artificial intelligence for the La Casita del Sabor restaurant, which is a small enterprise located in the Los Andes parish of Patate canton. Based on the research of successful cases, the Scrum methodology is used to improve collaboration between the development team and the owner of the restaurant. Besides, the KDD methodology is used to apply recommendation algorithms, specifically collaborative filtering, which sends personalized recommendations to customers' emails. For its development, it used free licensing tools, such as the Python programming language, the Django framework, libraries such as Pandas, PostgreSQL for the database, and Figma to design prototypes, allowing efficient development. Data was collected through a survey directed at clients and an interview with the owner to analyze their needs. For the administrative part, the system generates weekly sales reports, while, for customers, it sends email notifications when a new menu is added according to the category and offers personalized recommendations, improving the customer experience and benefiting the owner. This project represents a significant change for the restaurant, its owner, and its clients since currently sales management is carried out manually in notebooks. Furthermore, the owner must assume several roles, which results in the loss of clients. The development of this web system significantly improves the restaurant's operation, given that currently the use of technology has a great impact on society.
