| dc.description | This research project focused on proposing an administrative management model for the General Secretariat of the Technical University of Cotopaxi, the main problems of the secretariat are focused on the lack of knowledge of administrative processes, lack of personnel and the service provided. by the unit. The objective of the proposal is to provide solutions to the detected needs to improve each phase of the administrative process, therefore, a quantitative methodology was used in the research through descriptive and bibliographic research with a non-experimental design through a cross-sectional study. The research methods that were used were the deductive and the synthetic analytical; The techniques that were used for the development of the proposal were the observation technique, the interview and the survey through the instrument the questionnaire that facilitated the data collection through a guide of specific questions directed to the personnel. For all the aforementioned, the administrative model was designed according to the needs found in the secretariat, obtaining as a result better waiting times in the procedures, reduction of excess work and a better work environment so that, through the proposal, verifies that the incorporation of a model will increase the productivity and performance of all personnel working in the unit, considering that the administrative process is of great importance since it allows correct administration of resources, thus improving the services provided to the entire university community. The beneficiaries are the Secretaries of the faculties, the extension of Pujilí and the Graduate Academic Unit of the Technical University of Cotopaxi and the administrative staff of the General Secretariat. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente proyecto de investigación se enfocó en proponer un modelo de gestión administrativa para la Secretaría General de la Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi, las principales problemáticas de la secretaría se centran en el desconocimiento de los procesos administrativos, falta de personal y el servicio que se brinda por parte de la unidad. El objetivo de la propuesta es dar soluciones a las necesidades detectadas para mejorar cada fase del proceso administrativo, por lo tanto, en la investigación se utilizó una metodología cuantitativa mediante una investigación descriptiva y bibliográfica con un diseño no experimental a través de un estudio transversal. Los métodos de investigación que se utilizaron fueron el deductivo y el analítico sintético; las técnicas que fueron empleadas para el desarrollo de la propuesta fueron la técnica de observación, la entrevista y la encuesta por medio del instrumento el cuestionario que facilitó la recolección de datos mediante una guía de preguntas específicas dirigidas al personal. Por todo lo antes mencionado se diseñó el modelo administrativo acorde a las necesidades encontradas en la secretaría obteniendo como resultado mejores tiempos de espera en los tramites, reducción del exceso de trabajo y un mejor el ambiente laboral de manera que, por medio de la propuesta se comprueba que la incorporación de un modelo permitirá incrementar la productividad y el desempeño de todo el personal que labora en la unidad considerando que el proceso administrativo es de gran importancia ya que permite realizar una administración correcta de los recursos mejorando así los servicios que se brindan a toda la comunidad universitaria. Los beneficiarios son las Secretarías de las facultades, la extensión de Pujilí y la Unidad Académica de Posgrado de la Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi y el personal administrativo de la Secretaría General. | es_ES |
