On the other hand, the objective was to teach some basic farming vocabulary using didactic exercises to get a better development of "Simón Rodriguez" students skills. We considered important to undertake a preliminary study, which served as the basis to design the current research, such as teaching methods and techniques, characteristics and types of teaching resources, basic principles for drawing up a booklet and tools for designing of it, as well as the assessment procedure care and use of the resource produced.

The factors that determine this situation are many and varied. However, recent studies have shown that the root of these problems lies in a lack of study habits and techniques. Today's society, in its constant development and concern for second language learning, has raised the need for research whose fundamental objective is to develop students' study habits to improve their English language learning. The document focuses on the development of four skills: listening, reading, writing, and speaking in English, taking into account different study methods and techniques that currently help improve the teaching-learning process, which will guarantee the development of the second language. It is based on the proposal of motivating students to self-prepare in order to achieve personal and social communication goals, which will undoubtedly be reflected in a high level of foreign language knowledge and proficiency.

Currently, the study and practice of the English language is a necessity due to globalization in communication, marketing, and cultural exchange from one hemisphere to another. This justifies the present work, which suggests active learning techniques for this area of study in schools.

It is our greatest aspiration that the proposals presented here serve for discussion, reflection, analysis and open criticism, without any inconsistency or the slightest fear of the defects that may arise from their reading and understanding, because we consider that our proposals are necessary to better guide the professional training of English language teachers, and the qualitative development of personality, without this meaning that they are matrix proposals of strict application.
